One reason I raise my own animals and produce...

In our society, growing food yourself has become the most radical of acts. It is truly the only effective protest, one that can—and will—overturn the corporate powers that be. By the process of directly working in harmony with nature, we do the one thing most essential to change the world—we change ourselves. ~ Jules Dervaes ~

I heard on the radio the other day (in New Zealand) that a GM corn feed has been allowed in to the country, but it was "safe" for humans, and unlikely to make it in to the food chain...hellooooo???

Bryce visited a homestead today that made him think of you. The lady unschooled her children as well. They helped test a couple of dogs for heartworm she was fostering in return for letting them practice ultrasound on her goats. She fed them some homemade goat cheese drizzled in fresh garlic and olive oil. He said it was absolutely fantastic. She served it with some bread and crackers. She is from Switzerland and her dad was a baker so who knows what kind of bread it was; however, feed a good man good food and you have a happy man. Now that's true multiplication for you! :)
