It was a full day.

My big accomplishments for the day - spring cleaning all of the kids' wardrobes. Cleaning out the camper from our first camping trip! Helping Hannah make raspberry suckers. Only eating three spoonfuls of Nutella.
We watched a Studio Ghibli movie that I was wary about - Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I was wary because it's never been recommended as all of the other Ghibli movies always are (Hannah's favorite is Castle in the Sky and Ainsley's is My Neighbor Totoro). I don't know why this one never gets recommended. It's by far my favorite. Fantastic female protagonist and beautiful storyline and soundtrack.
They started dropping like flies around me.
I was stepping over bodies.
I only moved the ones that fell asleep on the floor. Those on couches or beds stayed right where they were.
They needed the sleep.

Playing on Daddy's new phone.
Making gangster faces while crafting.
Napping.
Being spiders ...
and flies.
Eating blueberries.
Planning projects for the next week.
Napping.
Ainsley made a turkey cake for Thanksgiving.
Running
Taking silly pictures.
DINOSAUR POOP!!!!!!
Becoming mermaids.
Napping.
Indulging in 10 pm cooking.
Putting wilted celery to good use.
And napping. 'Cause that's how we roll around here.
And played.

And played.
And played.
And practiced tying scarves.
And
Really amazing - perfect to keep in the fridge for hungry-ish kids.
Because the catalogs are a-comin'.
And sleeping.
And mixed in there was park-playing and dance class and playing with Daddy and errands. It was a busy, busy day.
